Cheese & Wine 11:00 am & 2:00 pm

Experience a tutored matching of three local Gippsland wines paired with Prom Country Cheeses, guided by wine identity Rob Hicks, and farmhouse cheesemaker Burke Brandon. Explore what matches for your palette, while we delve deeper into the characteristics and differences between the individual fermented delights. The class will feature limited release, small batch cheeses made especially for the Loch Food & Wine Festival, all with different natural rinds and affinage.
Burke will also explain the ecology of each living cheese, and the importance of working with nature's microbes throughout the entire process from soil, to pasture, milk quality, maturation environment and ultimately the final cheese.

Burra Brewery 12:30 pm

A microbrewery located in the beautiful rolling hills of Korumburra, Burra Brewery has been our long time dream.
Loudly and proudly independant, we are passionate about all things beer and South Gippsland. Plus we love being part of our growing regional network of producers.
We produce a variety of easy drinking beers that have been designed and brewed with the craft beer drinker in mind. They'll go down easily and leave you wanting more.  Come on in and enjoy our friendly service. Try a delicious wood fired pizza in our sunlit beer garden, along with a few of our natural, handcrafted beers, all brewed on site.
